ThinkAbroad.ai is an AI-powered platform that helps international students discover study-abroad programs, compare universities, check program fit, find scholarships, and access visa guidance. The Service includes tools such as Compass, Fit Check, Recommendations, Scholarship Finder, ECTS Checker, Housing AI, and Visa Hub.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

  • You may create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, fit assessments, scholarship matches, and other guidance. AI responses are generated via third-party models including OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Mistral AI. This content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional academic, legal, or financial advice.

  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.
  • Always verify program details, deadlines, tuition fees, and visa requirements directly with the relevant university or official government source.
  • We do not guarantee admission, scholarship awards, or visa approvals based on our tool outputs.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks on the Service are owned by ThinkAbroad.ai or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7a. Usage Limits

Some AI features are subject to usage quotas (prompt limits). We reserve the right to impose, adjust, or remove usage limits at any time. Automated, scripted, or excessive use of AI features beyond normal personal use may result in temporary throttling or account suspension.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service contains links to university websites, scholarship portals, government visa pages, and other third-party resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkAbroad.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Reliance on AI-generated recommendations or assessments.
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account.
  • Actions taken based on information provided by the Service.

10. Indemnification

11a. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the account menu in the navigation bar. Upon deletion, your personal data (email and name) is permanently and immediately removed from our database. Anonymised analytics data (not linked to your account) may be retained.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
